Future Talks:

 

William Cash will give a talk on the writing of his acclaimed restore-a-wreck empire, Restoration Heart, describing how he restored Upton Cressett over two years in 2008-2010 as a way of restoring both heart and house.

 

Future Talks: 

Adam Dant and the Lost Art of Country House Painting 

The Jerwood prize winning, former General Election artist and muralist of Upton Cressett will explain the inspirations behind his acclaimed series of murals at Upton Cressett - as featured in Country Life - that are now part of our Grade 1 listing.

The talk will begin with a Hall and Gatehouse tour of the murals. Dant has been described as the 'Hogarth of our Age' by the Guardian and his work is held in the V & A,  MOMA in New York and the collection of HRH Prince of Wales.
